DIY Guide
In case you don’t want to reach out for Professional Installation

STEP 1 Prepare all needed tools
Paste
Paste Brush or roller
Knife or snap off blade
Level
Sponge & bucket of clean water
Smoothing brush or plastic smoother
Tape Measure
6-in inch Putty knife or straight edge
A pencil
Step stool
Drop Cloth
Steel ruler (to make cuts accurate along top & bottom)

STEP 2 Prepare your walls
Unscrew any sockets/light switches/fixtures which will be in the way during installation
Make sure the wall is smooth, clean, dry, and sound sound.
Flaking paint and old wallpaper should be removed, and any uneven surfaces must be filled/levelled
After plaster works, the wall has to be sanded smooth and primed
You can use any acrylic wallpaper primer available at your local paint stores (Gardz, Shieldz, Roman R35 etc). It is highly recommended to tint the primer to the color of the design background to make sure it won’t show through.
STEP 3 Hanging
#1 Lay all panels down to engineer the layout of the design.
#2 Apply a wallpaper paste directly to wall with brush or roller. Evenly distribute across area slightly larger than 1 strip at a time. We recommend putting a thin coat of paste on a primed surface. We recommend using a Roman Wallcovering Paste 880 Clear
#3 Install the first panel, being careful to ensure that it is straight with your plumb line as a guide. Make sure to leave some excess at the top and bottom to trim it off later. Our panels have numbers on them that will help you to determine the sequence. Strictly follow the sequence and make sure you go in a correct order (1,2,3,4 etc). Otherwise, the pattern match will break.
#4 Use a smoothing tool to firmly adhere the mural panel to the wall, sweeping the tool from the center outwards to work out all air bubbles.
#5 Apply additional strips in the same method, matching up the pattern at the seam and carefully smoothing out all bubbles as you go.
#6 Touch the edges tightly together, but don’t overlap the strips.
Smooth the seams together as you go with a smoothing tool so they will not separate.
#7 Trim excess paper along ceiling and baseboard with a sharp razor knife and 6-in putty knife as a guide.
Do not to lift your knife when making long cuts.
Wash excess paste off ceiling and baseboards with a wet sponge and clean water.
